Close the gap.

The window is closed.
The draught still
finds a way.
That cool edge beside the frame. Dust gathering where panels meet. Small gaps can make a room feel less comfortable than it should.
Start with the edges you can identify and measure. This adhesive strip helps cover suitable gaps at doors and windows, without a complicated installation routine.
- Help reduce air moving through treated gaps.
- Help limit dust entering at the covered edge.
- Cut each piece to suit the section you're treating.

A gap left open.
An edge given attention.
A strip placed across a suitable edge helps interrupt the open path. The fit and contact matter as much as the length.
A clear path through the gap
An opening can allow air and dust to pass at the frame.
A strip across the opening
The strip covers the edge while the bonding area stays attached to the mounting surface.
Schematic illustrations, not measured performance results. Position the strip to suit your frame and preserve normal opening and closing.
A straightforward
DIY project.
Self-adhesive backing
Peel away the liner and press onto a suitable clean, dry surface.
Cut to the length you need
A tape measure and scissors help you prepare individual sections.
Two useful roll lengths
Choose 5 m or 10 m after adding up the edges you want to treat.
How much do
your gaps need?
Both options have the same strip width. Choose the roll length that covers your measured project, with room for trimming.
A practical choice when your combined required length fits within 5 metres, including your cutting allowance.
More length for a larger measured project or several separate edges around the home.
A quick measuring example
If the edges you plan to treat measure 2.1 m, 2.1 m and 0.9 m, add those lengths together:
That example already exceeds a 5 m roll before trimming. Measure your own edges, add any cutting allowance and select enough total length.
Strip width is not the maximum sealable gap size. Allow enough contact for the adhesive and check that the strip can bridge your specific gap without obstructing movement.
One project.
Or a few small fixes.
Look at the frame and panel edges where a strip can make suitable contact.

Compare your frame layout with these examples, then check the available bonding surface and movement.

Consider suitable door, window and cabinet edges. The required length and fit depend on each frame.
Good preparation makes the difference.
Check for a firm, clean, dry bonding area. Test adhesion on a small discreet area first, especially on paint or delicate finishes. Keep drainage holes, designed ventilation openings and moving hardware clear.
Measure. Prepare.
Peel. Press.
Keep a tape measure, scissors and a cleaning cloth nearby. Follow the application instructions supplied with your roll.

- 1Measure and cutMeasure the edge you want to treat and cut a suitable section.
- 2Clean and dryRemove dust and surface residue. Let the mounting area dry fully.
- 3Peel and alignExpose the adhesive gradually, keeping the strip aligned with the planned edge.
- 4Press firmlyWork along the bonded section to establish even contact.
- 5Check normal movementOpen and close the door or window carefully to check clearance and contact.
White, with a little
transparency.
The white strip has a slightly translucent appearance. The surface beneath it may show through, so consider the frame colour when planning your installation.
This gives you a clearer idea of the finish before you choose where to apply it.

Plan your total length.
A little planning makes it easier to choose enough strip in one order.
One problem area
Measure only the sections you actually need to cover, then choose a suitable roll length.
Several rooms
Add the required lengths for each door or window before choosing your total quantity.
A little left over
Store any unused length with its backing intact and follow the supplied storage guidance.
Your questions,
answered.
Is every roll 32.8 ft long?
No. There are two length options: 16.4 ft (about 5 m) and 32.8 ft (about 10 m). Check the selected length in your product options before ordering.
How many doors or windows can one roll cover?
It depends on their dimensions and which edges you treat. Measure those edges, add them together and allow for trimming. A fixed door or window count would not account for your frame layout.
Do I need special tools?
The strip has a self-adhesive backing. Keep a tape measure, scissors and a cleaning cloth ready for measuring, trimming and preparing the mounting area.
Will it stick to every surface?
Adhesion depends on the finish, cleanliness, dryness and exposure. Test a discreet area and follow the supplied instructions. Loose paint, damp surfaces and surface residue can prevent a reliable bond.
Does the 3.5 cm width mean it seals a 3.5 cm gap?
No. That is the total strip width. Part of it must make adequate contact with the mounting surface. Check the geometry of your gap and preserve normal door or window movement.
Will it completely soundproof a room?
This is an edge-sealing product, not a complete soundproofing system. Any change in gap-related noise depends on the fit and the other paths sound takes into your room.
Can I use it to repair a damaged window or water leak?
It is intended for suitable edge gaps. It does not replace repairs to damaged frames, failed glazing seals or structural leaks. Check the cause of the problem before applying the strip.
Is the white strip completely opaque?
No. It is slightly translucent, so the underlying surface can show through.
A small project.
A more considered home.
Measure the edges, choose your 5 m or 10 m roll in the product options, and get ready for your next practical home update.
